Key Duties & Responsibilities<\/u><\/p>\n
\u2022The successful applicants will be contracted as apprentices through FP&M SETA
\n\u2022They will enter into a fixed term training contract with Paarl Media and the SETA for the duration of training
\n\u2022Complete approximately 6 months theoretical training at the Academy based in Paarl, Western Cape
\n\u2022Complete approximately 26-30 months at Paarl Media Cape for the core experiential component of the training<\/p>\n
\u2022The apprentice will earn an income for the duration of the apprenticeship program<\/p>\n
Educational Requirements<\/u><\/p>\n
\u2022Matric\/ Grade 12 with Mathematics or an equivalent qualification<\/p>\n
\u2022Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent with Mathematics with a pass rate of 50%<\/p>\n
Experience Requirements<\/u><\/p>\n
\u2022Previous shift work experience advantageous<\/p>\n
Skills & Competencies<\/u><\/p>\n
\u2022Good communication skills in English
\n\u2022Willingness to work shifts
\n\u2022An eye for detail – especially exceptional colour perception<\/p>\n
\u2022A technical foundation would be of great benefit to the successful incumbent<\/p>\n
