{"id":2539,"date":"2011-03-22T05:53:48","date_gmt":"2011-03-22T04:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=2539"},"modified":"2011-03-22T05:53:48","modified_gmt":"2011-03-22T04:53:48","slug":"senior-php-developer-needed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/senior-php-developer-needed.html","title":{"rendered":"Senior PHP Developer Needed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A growing online agency in the CBD is looking for Senior PHP Developers to work on a permanent and contract basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY FUNCTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development of new database driven php applications<\/li>\n<li>Development of modifications and add-on modules to existing php applications.<\/li>\n<li>Trouble-shooting of php applications<\/li>\n<li>Customisation and modification of third-party software programmes (GNU) for clients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 yrs plus PHP experience<\/li>\n<li>Framework knowledge (JQuery&amp;Joomla&amp;Wordpress)<\/li>\n<li>2 yrs MySQL experience<\/li>\n<li>2 yrs plus JavaScript experience<\/li>\n<li>CMS<\/li>\n<li>CSS<\/li>\n<li>HTML<\/li>\n<li>Linux<\/li>\n<li>Zend a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The candidate must have a good understanding of databases and must be able to simplify data flow.<\/li>\n<li>Be logical in his thinking and be able to simplify complex processes into manageable modular steps.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a resourceful person able to find elegant solutions in an environment where new challenges often arise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>THE IDEAL APPLICANT<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In addition to possessing the required skills and experience, you must be able to function under consistent high pressure and be deadline driven.
