We perform both hands-on and strategic roles in providing human resources expertise in employee relations, coaching\/development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, training and more. Our team supports specific organizations, functions and\/or geographies, and we embed ourselves within the business to work closely with management and employees on people-related issues. HR Business Partners are also instrumental in initiating and driving HR programs\/initiatives within those organizations, placing considerable focus on retention, scaling and culture issues.<\/p>\n<h3>The role: Human Resources Coordinator (Temporary)<\/h3>\n<p>As a HR Coordinator you\u2019ll join our team of Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) to provide a range of key services in a general supporting role to the HRBP leads for sub-saharan Africa. In this role you will interact with HRBPs, managers, employees and People Operations colleagues within central teams to help support various programs for the product management functions. Utilizing your analytical skills, you will assist with reporting and special projects.<\/p>\n<h4>Job Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Respond to questions from employees and managers about benefits, policies and HR programs<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and assist with the planning, roll-out and execution of HR programs such as compensation planning, performance management, and training &amp; development<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the Benefits team on the evaluation, implementation and monitoring of local country benefits<\/li>\n<li>Act as a key player in all process improvement initiatives; provide resource to the global mobility team on visa applications, quotes and documentation<\/li>\n<li>Provide extensive on-boarding support for each new hire in SSA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Job Requirements:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>BA\/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>Solid experience in Human Resources or Recruiting preferably within a large organization<\/li>\n<li>HR experience gained in sub-saharan Africa will be a distinct advantage<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is essential (fluency in French a plus)<\/li>\n<li>Proven analytical thinking and ability to manipulate data<\/li>\n<li>High attention to detail and ability to execute quickly on day-to-day tasks and special projects<\/li>\n<li>This role will require travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For immediate consideration, please send a text (ASCII) or HTML version of your resume to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:temporaryjobs@google.com\">temporaryjobs@google.com<\/a>.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Important:<\/strong> The subject field of your email must include\u00a0<strong>Human Resources Coordinator (Temporary) &#8211; Johannesburg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Adecco jobs in South Africa by Google South Africa at Joblist South Africa\" href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/jobs\/africa\/human-resources-coordinator-temporary-johannesburg\/index.html\"><strong>Click here to learn more<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Human Resources Business Partners (sometimes called HR Generalists) are on the front line of servicing and interacting with our employees.
