Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n A degree\/National Diploma majoring in Human Resource management\/ Industrial psychology (preferably) Knowledge, Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n Extensive experience in recruitment and the managing of IR issues Extensive travelling will be required.<\/p>\n Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Recruitment, selection and induction of competent candidates. \nA minimum of three years\u2019 experience in a people\/HR management role, with a strong business orientation, and direct accountability for a general portfolio of people issues.<\/p>\n
\nA practical grasp of the retail industry and especially the operations and people issues in a store will be beneficial.
\nAn up-to-date understanding of all labour legislation, especially the LRA, SD9, and a thorough grasp of the principles and current strategic issues in the field of HR.
\nEffective communication skills in English and a second language appropriate to the region
\nExcellent interpersonal skills
\nA valid driver\u2019s license (code 8)<\/p>\n
\nThe development of people plans and their effective implementation.
\nManagement of industrial relations, including the management of cases through the dispute resolution stages (CCMA)
\nCo-ordination of training and development.
\nProviding and analyzing people information to optimise business decisions
\nThe forecasting of risks and opportunities.
\nActing as a change agent to heighten awareness and gain support for the Company\u2019s People Strategy and strategic priorities.
