The programme assists learners to prepare for the workplace and promotes access to increased employment opportunities within the Medical Aid Administration and insurance industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c17\"><span class=\"c15\"><b>THE INCUMBENT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducting themselves as employees of MMI Holdings according to Company values<\/li>\n<li>Displaying a willingness to learn corporate values and technicalities<\/li>\n<li>Attending classroom activities and practical on the job training as well as carrying out functions in line with the Learnership as required by MMI Holdings<\/li>\n<li>Acquiring knowledge of company products, policies and procedures in order to be successful at on the job training activities<\/li>\n<li>Compiling a Portfolio of Evidence for submission to SETA<\/li>\n<li>Completing logbooks for work-based learning<\/li>\n<li>Achieving the required level in formative and summative assessments<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrating commitment to working in the medical scheme industry<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrating skills in using the company\u2019s systems<\/li>\n<li>Showing understanding of the operational processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"c17\"><span class=\"c15\"><b>THE APPLICANT SHOULD MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed Grade 12 Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Level 4 or 50% pass in English<\/li>\n<li>Level 3 or 40% pass in another official language<\/li>\n<li>Level 4 or 50% and above in Pure Mathematics<\/li>\n<li>Level 6 or 70% and above in Mathematical Literacy<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate efficiency in Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<li>Unemployed and can commit 12 months to the programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"c17\"><span class=\"c15\"><b>COMPETENCIES REQUIRED<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure while being client centric at all times<\/li>\n<li>Assertive and good communication skills with the ability to access and use information<\/li>\n<li>Ability to be creative, innovative and a problem solver with collaboration and inclusiveness<\/li>\n<li>Self-management and results-driven behaviour with attention to detail and high levels of accuracy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"c17\"><span class=\"c15\"><b>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Successful candidates must be South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 years<\/li>\n<li>Successful candidates must be available from 1 February 2016 to 31 January 2017<\/li>\n<li>Successful candidates must be able to commute to the workplace on their own<\/li>\n<li>Successful candidates should not be studying fulltime for the duration of the learnership<\/li>\n<li>Successful candidates must not have completed the same learnership previously<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"c17\"><span class=\"c15\"><b>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c18\"><span class=\"c19\">listed candidates will be subjected to the following statutory checks:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ITC<\/li>\n<li>Criminal<\/li>\n<li>References<\/li>\n<li>QualificationsThis vacancy is not open to recruitment agencies and we reserve the right not to fill the vacancy.\n<p class=\"c17\"><span class=\"c15\"><b>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c18\"><span class=\"c19\">The learnership will be hosted in the following offices:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cape Town \u2013 Parc Du Cap 2 Mispel Road Bellville<\/li>\n<li>Braamfontein \u2013 101 De Korte Street Johannesburg, Gauteng<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"c17\"><span class=\"c15\"><b>DISCLAIMER<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only on-line applications submitted via our careers page will be considered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Internal Team Members must inform their manager of their application.
