The W&amp;RSETA has identified as one of its strategic objectives , the need to support learners to further their studies at Public Higher Education Institutions in South Africa .<\/p>\n<p>This objective address es Outcome 4.2.3 of the National Skills Development Strategy III which is to ensure that high \u2013 level national S carce S kills are being addressed by work \u2013 ready graduates from Higher Education Institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for the Bursary are open for the 2016 financial year and the Bursary is restricted to students who are registered for the following Degrees \/ Diploma s \/ B.Tech or NATED \/ NCV Programmes which are related to the Wholesale and Retail Sector Scarce Skills priorities as indicated below :<\/p>\n<p><strong>HETI PROGRAMMES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Retail Business Management<\/li>\n<li>Purchasing Management<\/li>\n<li>Supply Chain Management<\/li>\n<li>Logistics Management<\/li>\n<li>Sales and Marketing Management<\/li>\n<li>Retail Marketing<\/li>\n<li>Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Financial Management<\/li>\n<li>Retail Pharmacy<\/li>\n<li>Training and Development Management<\/li>\n<li>Human Resource Management<\/li>\n<li>Information Technology \/ Computer Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NATED PROGRAMMES \u2013 N4 TO N6<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial Management<\/li>\n<li>Marketing Management<\/li>\n<li>Human Resource Management<\/li>\n<li>Management Assistant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NCV PROGRAMMES \u2013 LEVEL 2 TO LEVEL 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finance, Economics &amp; Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Marketing<\/li>\n<li>Information Technology &amp; Computer Science<\/li>\n<li>Office Administration<\/li>\n<li>Transport and Logistics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To qualify for the bursary, l earners \/ students must be accepted \/ registered at a P ublic Higher Education Institution ( Universities and Universities of Technology and TVET Colleges ) The W&amp;RSETA has made available bursaries as follows :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The bursary cove rs tuition, books, accommodation (accredited \/ leased by the Institution s and University \/ TVET residences ) , and meals where applicable.<\/li>\n<li>The bursary is for full \u2013 time or part \u2013 time (for employed students) studies at any public South African University or TVET College<\/li>\n<li>Students will not be funded for longer than the stipulated duration of the qualification or studies .<\/li>\n<li>Students will not be funded for subjects \/ modules they have failed .<\/li>\n<li>Students must have be en accepted by their preferred public South African University \/ TVET College<\/li>\n<li>Students that were previously funded by the W&amp;RS ETA and failed do not qualify.<\/li>\n<li>Students with other sources of funding do not qualify.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All interested applicants may apply via the W&amp;RSETA online bursary application system no later than 31 January 2016 .
