Senior Network Administrator<\/p>\n

Office<\/strong>
\nJohannesburg<\/p>\n

Required Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

Good working knowledge of Windows 2003\/8, Active Directory, TCP\/IP, DNS, DHCP.<\/p>\n

At least 1 year’s experience in administering disaster recovery systems.<\/p>\n

Ability to work after hours if required (must have own transport).<\/p>\n

2 year’s experience working with server hardware – building servers, configuring RAID sets, installing servers in racks, etc.<\/p>\n

Analytical skills and attention to details.<\/p>\n

Roles and Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Providing assistance in the planning and implementation of new systems.<\/p>\n

Ensuring networks and servers are fully operational.<\/p>\n

Monitoring network and server performance.<\/p>\n

Developing and maintaining network-support-related documentation.<\/p>\n

Ensuring network defenses (firewall and AV measures) are adequate and updated.<\/p>\n

Administering Anti-Virus solutions.<\/p>\n

Building and re-building of servers.<\/p>\n

Monitoring of security events and ensuring compliance with Security Policy.<\/p>\n

Designing, implementing and supporting backup solutions.<\/p>\n

Administering and supporting Windows 2003 and 2008 server.<\/p>\n
