BPL believes passionately in the capacity and the often underdeveloped potential of the youth in our country. We believe that business has a role to play in securing the future of South Africa by providing development and educational opportunities to deserving and committed young people. We continue to commit ourselves to this purpose.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"requisitiondetails-label\">Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/h3>\n<p>BPL learnerships are available to young people who are just leaving school, college or other training institutions after completing at least a grade 12 certificate. Applicants are expected to complete the following process before final selection:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a. Fully completed application<\/li>\n<li>b. References<\/li>\n<li>c. Grade 12 certificate<\/li>\n<li>d. First screening interview<\/li>\n<li>e. Second panel interview with senior management present<\/li>\n<li>f. Psychometric assessment and interview<\/li>\n<li>g. Criminal record clearance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"requisitiondetails-label\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are accepted for a BPL learnership, you will have to sign two legal documents: the first is a Learnership Agreement and the second is a Fixed Term Employment Contract.<\/li>\n<li>The Learnership Agreement is signed by yourself, BPL (who will be employing you for the duration of the learnership) and the training provider (such as a college) that will be offering the classroom-based training of the learnership.<\/li>\n<li>The Learnership Agreement clearly spells out the rights and responsibilities of these three parties who sign the document.<\/li>\n<li>The Fixed Term Employment Contract is a contract between you and BPL.<\/li>\n<li>This contract is only valid for the time period of the learnership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p><a class=\"apply\" href=\"unsaved:\/\/\/careers.bpl.za.com\/candidateapp\/Jobs\/View\/160219-1\/Learnership\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Online for the Bidvest Learnership Programme in Durban<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Closing Date: 26 February 2016<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Location: Durban Job Purpose The learnership is aimed at providing a National certificate in Freight Forwarding and Customs Compliance (NQF3) to interested candidates.
