Or computer games.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do you have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A National Diploma in IT or equivalent?<\/li>\n<li>Less than 1 year working experience?<\/li>\n<li>South African citizenship?<\/li>\n<li>Good written and verbal communication skills?<\/li>\n<li>An open mind and an awesome work ethic?<\/li>\n<li>A strong sense of self discipline, personal accountability and urgency?<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail?<\/li>\n<li>A professional, enthusiastic approach to learning and teamwork?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You could be a candidate for a BBD Learnership programme.<\/p>\n<p>This is a 12-month, work-based learning programme that combines a structured learning component with practical work experience.<\/p>\n<p>Incumbents are paid a minimum monthly stipend during the programme (starving is for artists, not programmers), and upon completion, gain a nationally recognised IT qualification.<\/p>\n<p>There are only 10 vacancies for the programme, with two intakes in February and August of each year&#8230; so things might get a little bit \u2018Hunger Games\u2019 if you leave your application too late.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>GRADUATE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMME<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Do you have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc Computer Science\/ Engineering in IT or equivalent?<\/li>\n<li>65% average academic results?<\/li>\n<li>Less than 1 year working experience?<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills?<\/li>\n<li>An open mind and an awesome work ethic?<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work within an unstructured environment?<\/li>\n<li>A strong sense of self discipline, personal accountability and urgency?<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail?<\/li>\n<li>A professional, enthusiastic approach to learning and teamwork?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Every year, BBD hires 7 talented graduates from all over the country to join our team.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to invaluable experience at South Africa\u2019s largest and longest standing, custom software development company, these applicants also have the opportunity to work for a permanent position at BBD (which comes with VIP access to the cappuccino machine)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbd.co.za\/careers\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to BURSARY, GRADUATE and LEARNERSHIPS AT BBD<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At BBD they are committed to providing opportunities for students and professionals looking to make a difference and work on exciting projects that vary from day to day.
