REQUIREMENTS : A minimum of ABET\/Grade 10 with one (1) year experience and knowledge of pottering service in hospital environment. Ability to work shifts and extended hours. Be able to work in a team environment.<\/p>\n
Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations as well as Infection Prevention and Control Principles.<\/p>\n
Skills<\/strong>: Problem solving, Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, report writing, ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of code of conduct.<\/p>\n DUTIES :<\/strong> Transporting of Patients into Ambulance. Assist patients who are unable to walk to and from private cars. Accompanying walking and non-walking patients, prepare wheel chairs and stretchers for readiness from all different area of the hospital. Transporting of corpses to mortuar. Checking of mortuary gauges, inspecting stretchers daily before use, removal of soiled linen from sluice all the time, prepare stretchers for reuse, collecting of unused stretchers and wheelchairs around the hospital, cleaning of mortuary floors, fridges, cooled room, wheelchairs and stretchers. Assisting private undertaker for collection of corpses, filling of BI 1663 document and mortuary register. Assisting relatives for identification of corpses, making sure that corpses are labeled correctly.
