M-Net<\/strong> is a subscription-funded television channel broadcast in South Africa\u00a0seeks to appoint a self-motivated employment equity individual to assume responsibility of Research Data Analyst Intern.<\/p>\n The candidate will report to the Research Manager and be based at our offices in Randburg.<\/p>\n (Preference will be given to EE candidates)<\/p>\n The Research division\u2019s main purpose is to strategically support and proactively provide M-Net, and the various channel clusters, with relevant research into their target markets, content selection, scheduling, competition, audience viewing behaviours and general content consumption trends.<\/p>\n This is to successfully support business decision-making with strategic insight (short and long-term).<\/p>\n The Research Specialist is required to support the specific M-Net channel cluster with content and audience research, findings, interpretations and strategic recommendations.<\/p>\n It entails the collation and interpretation of data, as well as the ability to proactively communicate insight into strategic decisions impacting on the channel division\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n External factors that will influence the work environment taking future conditions and strategic requirements into account:<\/u><\/p>\n The stakeholders include the following internal and external parties:<\/u><\/p>\n The outputs are critical to the successful operation of research unit, as well as the internal business units within M-Net, which will enable M-Net to accomplish the organisation\u2019s mission and strategy.<\/p>\n The outputs include the following:<\/u><\/p>\n Channel \/ content research, analysis and interpretation:<\/p>\n Personal capabilities, which are critical to the production of quality outputs, are:<\/u><\/p>\n KNOWLEDGE \/ QUALIFICATIONS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Closing date for all applications is 20 May 2016 at 04:00pm.<\/p>\n\n
