Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Manage and execute the creation, maintenance and evolution of all websites required by the Group, including outside partners on online projects. Job Responsibilities:<\/strong> Input and upload content and graphics to company and related sites Company Description<\/strong> Job Requirements<\/strong> Formal and informal training to support the Technical Skills listed below.<\/p>\n Working Knowledge of the following Skills:<\/strong> Able and willing to work overtime if and when required. Personal Skills\/Attributes<\/strong>
\nMiddle management role: supervisory and operational. Manage the online team.<\/p>\n
\nContribute to the broader digital strategic direction of the business and lead the strategic planning process for the online team
\nMonitor and implement technology trends
\nManage relationships with 3rd party vendors related to\u00a0online work. Project manage the work they are involved in and ensure prioritization
\nProvide creative solutions
\nMonitor the\u00a0performance\u00a0of the existing sites and perform the necessary maintenance on these sites.<\/p>\n
\nLead the developments of new features, and the progression of the sites
\nLiaise with programming and marketing departments to source content (on competitions, functions, events and features)
\nCreate and manage the creative output of online competitions, events, features
\nEnsure that a high standard of graphic techniques is applied to websites
\nEnsure that a high standard of written English is applied to all content
\nEnsure the sites are constantly monitored, updated, revised and edited
\nEnsure all comments received by the Webmaster email addresses are responded to
\nMonitor and compile weekly\u00a0website stats\u00a0and monthly reports on siteactivity
\nResearch other websites and keep up to date with industry trends to explore ways of developing company sites
\nLiaise with the similar position in Cape Town, particularly to avoid duplicated work and to use resources most efficiently<\/p>\n

\nMatric. Design degree or diploma
\nThree years Online\/Digital Design experience plus one to two years Management experience (of an online team) essential (Must include creative design, writing and editing online material, internet development, understanding\u00a0website\u00a0layout and creation) (Web development\u00a0an advantage)
\nProject Management\u00a0Experience.\u00a0Project Management\u00a0diploma an advantage.<\/p>\n
\nPhotoshop Advanced. Adobe Suite
\nDreamweaver Advanced
\nExcellent knowledge of Style sheets and Divs
\nKnowledge of Online Marketing
\nUnderstanding of\u00a0Search Engine Marketing\u00a0: SEO:\u00a0Search Engine Optimization
\nUnderstanding of online, mobile and digital trends.
\nUnderstanding of Social Networking
\nUnderstanding of Video and Audio\/Podcasting
\nUnderstanding of these technical concepts is advantageous: ASP, .Net, and basic HTML, Javascript, DHTML
\nExcellent eye for creative (colour, etc) and layout<\/p>\n
