{"id":27435,"date":"2016-05-18T11:53:40","date_gmt":"2016-05-18T09:53:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=27435"},"modified":"2016-11-22T10:48:34","modified_gmt":"2016-11-22T08:48:34","slug":"27435","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/27435.html","title":{"rendered":"PWC Bursary 2017 in Bloemfontein"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>PwC<\/em> <\/strong>Southern <em>Africa<\/em> provides industry-focused assurance, advisory and tax services to public, private and government clients in all markets.<\/p>\n<p>Their bursary programme is available to students studying towards a Chartered Accountant (CA) degree at a South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) -accredited university.<\/p>\n<p><u>Job Description<\/u><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Bursary holders are required to serve a three year (minimum) training contract with the firm on completion of their post-graduate studies.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 This period may be extended depending on the value of the bursary awarded or the number of years for which the bursary is awarded.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A training contract is a learnership contract for 3 years where you will be applying the theory learnt at university to the practical environment, including:<\/p>\n<ul>Performing audit procedures at clients to express an opinion on their financial records<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\u00a0Working closely with audit teams to ensure client deadlines are met<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>Working in a challenging business environment<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>Interacting with people on various levels of experience<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>Gaining a wealth of experience on best business practices<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Progressing steadily throughout the three years to qualify as a Chartered Accountant, this includes writing the qualifying exams and achieving the necessary core hours as prescribed by SAICA.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Core experience obtained during your learnership includes auditing, accounting, financial management, secretarial systems, taxation and estates, business information systems.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pwc.co.za\/en\/students.html\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to PWC Career Page and then Click on Search and Apply<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PwC Southern Africa provides industry-focused assurance, advisory and tax services to public, private and government clients in all markets.
