{"id":27560,"date":"2016-05-23T18:05:16","date_gmt":"2016-05-23T16:05:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=27560"},"modified":"2016-11-18T16:36:40","modified_gmt":"2016-11-18T14:36:40","slug":"ndlambe-local-municipality-finance-graduate-internship-opportunities-may-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/ndlambe-local-municipality-finance-graduate-internship-opportunities-may-2016.html","title":{"rendered":"Ndlambe Local Municipality: Finance Graduate \/ Internship Opportunities May 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ndlambe Local Municipality has secured funding from National Treasury (Finance Management Grant) to embark on a project that is aimed at ensuring the successful implementation of Budget and Accounting reforms within the District and the selected Local Municipalities in the District.\u00a0 The programme will facilitate on the job technical skills of interns.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the project, Intern will undergo intensive training in Municipal Accounting and Financial Management.\u00a0 The Accounting and Financial areas include inter alia:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Revenue Collection and Debtors Administration<\/li>\n<li>Procurement and Payment of Creditors<\/li>\n<li>Cash Flow and Investment Management<\/li>\n<li>Risk Management and Short Term Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Bank Reconciliation and Financial Statements<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and in year reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>This position will suit candidates with the following profile:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The candidate must be unemployed<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must not exceed the age of 35<\/li>\n<li>Belong to the previously disadvantaged group or background<\/li>\n<li>Must have an appropriate Accounting or Auditing Degree\/Diploma or Financial Management with Accounting II as a subject.<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer literate with extensive knowledge of MS Office, Software Packages (MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak at least two languages spoken within the Council\u2019s area of jurisdiction,<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing to undergo a performance assessment during the internship programme.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must come from the local area of jurisdiction (Ndlambe Area).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p>To apply, please send your C.V, certified copies of qualifications, ID document, driver\u2019s license and covering letter (including details of at least 3 contactable references) to the *Human Resource Unit*, Ndlambe Municipality, P.O.
