{"id":27562,"date":"2016-05-23T11:06:57","date_gmt":"2016-05-23T09:06:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=27562"},"modified":"2016-11-10T13:52:05","modified_gmt":"2016-11-10T11:52:05","slug":"27562","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/27562.html","title":{"rendered":"Anglo American: Artisan Learnership Programme 2016 \/ 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Engineering Learnership opportunities are available at the following Anglo American Platinum Operations:<\/p>\n<p>Rustenburg Processes (Waterval Smelter and PMR); Amandelbult Processes, Mogalakwena Processes in the following discipline:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Millwright<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that the successful Candidates will be appointed on an Unemployed (18.2) contract.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful Candidates will be afforded an opportunity to enrol in an Unemployed (18.2) Learnership programme leading to the selected qualification as a qualified Artisan.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric with Mathematics and English (Minimum 40% pass), Physical Science will be an added advantage, or,<\/li>\n<li>N2 with 4\/5 subjects as per the specific Discipline Requirements (Added advantage), or,<\/li>\n<li>NCV Level \u2013 3 in appropriate trade<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Trade Test Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A minimum of N2 Subjects\/ certificate with the five applicable subjects for the relevant trade as specified below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Millwright<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mathematics<\/li>\n<li>Engineering Science;<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Trade Theory;<\/li>\n<li>Fitting Trade Theory;<\/li>\n<li>Industrial Electronics or Engineering Drawings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The appointed learner will sign an agreement where the learner commits him \/ herself to perform as required and obtain the minimum N2 or any required subjects applicable to the trade, necessary for qualifying.<\/p>\n<p>Where applicable the Company will support the appointed learner to achieve the minimum requirements by allowing the learner to attend a full trimester to obtain the relevant N2 subjects for the trade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learnership Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be prepared to work underground\/surface and in plants \u201cdusty areas\u201d, and an eleven day fortnight shift where applicable;<\/li>\n<li>Must be a South African Citizen;<\/li>\n<li>Must pass the relevant Rehabilitation Functionality Assessment (RFA) &amp; medical certificate of fitness, and<\/li>\n<li>Selection of Candidates will be based upon the Anglo American Platinum selection and recruitment procedure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anglo American Platinum shall apply the Employment Equity principles as set out in Anglo American Platinum\u2019s Employment Equity Policy<\/li>\n<li>Incomplete CV\u2019s and \/or applications will not be considered<\/li>\n<li>In order for your application to be considered, attach copies of Identity document, qualifications, and or license\/s required for the role<\/li>\n<li>Alternatively Interested candidates are invited to submit detailed Curriculum Vitae\u2019s (CV\u2019s) including certified copies of ID and highest qualification certificates to the nearest Walk in Centre at Anglo American Mines<\/li>\n<li><strong>Applicants should state in their application form, their geographical area and the advert number<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>NB: NO ACCOMODATION AND TRANSPORT TO AND FROM WORK WILL BE PROVIDED BY ANGLO AMERICAN PLATINUM<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Successful applicants will be informed and invited to complete the necessary assessments and interview<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Engineering Learnership opportunities are available at the following Anglo American Platinum Operations: Rustenburg Processes (Waterval Smelter and PMR); Amandelbult Processes, Mogalakwena Processes in the following discipline: Millwright Please note that&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[38,2250],"tags":[1812],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
