Key Competencies<\/p>\n
\u2022 Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, C, Haskell or Scala
\n\u2022 Strong technical abilities
\n\u2022 Aptitude for systems modelling
\n\u2022 Experience with MATLAB, Mathematica, Octave, Wolfram or R a bonus
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of HTML5 a bonus
\n\u2022 Able to work in a team<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
\u2022 Build expert software systems using a modern, event-driven, reactive Java development stack
\n\u2022 Build custom systems using Mendix
\n\u2022 Work in a highly-technical agile development team led by a senior solutions architect with over 20 years of experience at the cutting edge of software engineering technology<\/p>\n

\u2022 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
\n\u2022 Experience in a similar role advantageous
\n– Java (mostly using the Vert.x and other modern event-driven Reactive frameworks)
\n– Mendix
\n– PostgreSQL
\n– Maven
\n– TeamCity
\n– Linux
\n– Ansible
\n– React
\n– Backbone.js<\/p>\n
