\nThe Digital Product Specialist serves to ensure that the Company is a leader in the relevant market by having a well managed product portfolio which meets the demands of the relevant market segment. This is achieved through effectively managing and bundling services through the product lifecycle. The position carries the life cycle enhancements and sales responsibility for the company\u2019s existing and new product portfolio and ensuring that each product performs against the business plan.
\nBrief Description
\nOperational Planning\/ Processes
\n\u00b7 Work through Product Developers and Solutions to identify and plan new opportunities;
\n\u00b7 Manage each Product through its Lifecycle, by:
\no Analysing and amending financial models for existing and new services;
\no Ongoing measuring of services against the business plan;
\no Migration of customer from \u201cold\u201d product to the \u201cnew\u201d product;
\no Manage the margin of the product within the agreed DOA;
\nCompetitive (local and global) benchmarking;
\nAnalyse product value chains;
\n\u00b7 Work with the Financial Modelling department to understand the underlying CoS and other costs components to maintain the costing model and identify new ways in which the margin could be improved;
\n\u00b7 Ensure that all appropriate processes for the smooth management of the product;
\n\u00b7 Train and assist the Company in the sale of the product;
\n\u00b7 Work with the other marketing functions to execute the \u2019go-to-market\u2019 strategy for each product and markets;
\n\u00b7 Propose and implement special promotional campaigns on targeted products;
\n\u00b7 Ensure that all marketing co-lateral is developed and maintained for each product to assist in the marketing and sale of the product line;
\nPricing \/ Tariff management (optimal profitability mix management);
\nAdding new products, removing obsolete and discontinued products;
\nManagement of product revenue targets;
\nAuditing processes and documentation preparations, by maintaining a daily system of recording and administration to ensure auditing can be done by the financial department at all and any times;
\nReview and provide input to policies & procedures, making recommendations as necessary;
\nResolve complaints and escalate queries with regards;
\nEstablish and maintain quality standards that will enhance the customer experience and cost efficiency;
\nWork consistently according to standard operating procedures;
\nReporting; and
\nVendor \/ Supplier management.

\nEducation:
\n\u00b7 3 year Degree \/ Diploma in Commerce (Marketing \/ Communication) or related
\nGlobal Experience Standards (10)
\n\u2022 Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in a area of specialisation; with experience in supervising others
\n\u2022 Experience working in a medium organization<\/p>\n
