Facebook is now seeking an Agency Partner to work with Sub-Saharan Africa\u2019s leading media agencies and wider relevant agency landscape. In this role you will run a specific book of business as well as lead our efforts across channels, functions and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling cross-network marketing solutions to multi-channel advertisers and a proven ability to reach and influence executive level customers and drive new business. Additionally, you will have experience of working within a matrix organisation as well as leading, coaching and influencing people to generate positive results. You must have strong consultative sales skills, a collaborative and innovative spirit and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the wider SSA sales team and is pivotal to Facebook&#8217;s SSA success. This position is located in our Johannesburg office.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Manage the strategic relationships within an operating company, dealing with both traditional and digital media and execute Facebook global and local deals with agencies<\/li>\n<li>Develop strong C-level relationships within agencies. E.g CEO, MD and Managing Partners<\/li>\n<li>Support and develop entire agency to ensure excellent understanding of Facebook value proposition and products, with particular focus on planning and strategy teams<\/li>\n<li>Track revenue performance across the agency portfolio and determine corrective measures where needed<\/li>\n<li>Manage the acceleration of clients in own portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Support vertical and SMB teams in identifying and pitching transformational opportunities to clients<\/li>\n<li>the agency responsible for passing any opportunities\/enquiries to the right contact within Facebook<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant proven successful experience in sales and marketing in a sales\/commission-based role ideally in a media sales capacity to leading advertising agencies<\/li>\n<li>Leadership credibility and ability to influence, develop, and empower a team to achieve their best and flourish<\/li>\n<li>Professional network in place with senior agency contacts<\/li>\n<li>Relationships with top marketing decision makers at the largest companies and agencies<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of successfully growing revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in matrix organizations<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of Facebook user behavior and how technology works<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Facebook was built to help people connect and share, and over the last decade our tools have played a critical part in changing how people around the world communicate with&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[97],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
