Be part of the global team whose mission is already shared by<br \/>\n100,000 employees: to make energy better each and every day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>KEY PEFORMANCE AREAS <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HSEQ (Health &amp; Safety environmental and quality) improvement of all depots and operations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, maintain and continuously improve the Company\u2019s HSEQ management systems and contribute to the setting up and maintenance of a strong HSEQ culture within the company.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the implementation and sustainability of systems such as IMS, PATROM, ISO 4706, ISO 9001:2000; ISO 14001; SRM+etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the company\u2019s staff fully understands their responsibilities for HSEQ matters have identified their training needs and have obtained the appropriate level of competency.<\/li>\n<li>Audit all Company facilities to ensure compliance on HSEQ and to make recommendations to assist management in taking the necessary actions by follow up.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that HSE incidents and accidents are reports as required under legislation and liaise with regulatory bodies, i.e. Dept of Labour, LPGASA, and on a regular basis to General and line management (registering accident \/ incidents on RAMSES)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that effective systems are developed to manage all Quality non- conformances and customer\u2019s complaints and report such on a regular basis to General and Line Management.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the evaluation of environment liabilities on land owned or operated by the company<\/li>\n<li>Ensure environmental assessments are conducted on all land transition<\/li>\n<li>Act as an industry specialist on HSE matters and represent the company on LPG Industry working groups<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that appropriate performance indicators (KPI\u2019s) are in place throughout the company to provide a balanced measure of the HSEQ performance of the company.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly safety reporting statistics are to be reported on RAMSES and timeously submitted to AMO HSEQ.<\/li>\n<li>Develop health control and staff medical assessment programs along with hr Department<\/li>\n<li>Review training matrices with line managers with respect to IMS requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate profile<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A professional 3 year qualification \/ certificate in HSEQ or Engineering with a strong back ground in Health, Safety and Environment.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years working experience on the operations side, in the downstream oil or LPG industry.<\/li>\n<li>A strong knowledge of the LPG equipment manufacturing industry, e.g. cylinders, valves, tanks, pumps etc.<\/li>\n<li>A specific understanding of the risk profiles related to the LPG industry.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of all relevant legislation that impacts on the operations and HSEQ functions, e.g. OHS-ACT; HAZCHEM Regulations; Road Transportation Act and all SABS Regulations impacting on the LPG industry.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of ISO certification and Quality Assurance.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to create an environment for the company to excel in the areas of HSE and TQM.<\/li>\n<li>A good knowledge of industrial relations.<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license Code 8 is essential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COMPUTER SKILLS <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expertise and proficiency with basic MS Office software programs and the ability to learn how to effectively use monthly safety reporting software program ( RAMSES) to data and research accidents and incidents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Country<\/strong><br \/>\nSouth Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Functional discipline<\/strong><br \/>\nHSEQ<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u00e9tier<\/strong><br \/>\nH3SEQ General Responsibilities\/Polyvalent<br \/>\nSafety<br \/>\nEnvironment<br \/>\nQuality<br \/>\nSecurity<br \/>\nSocietal<br \/>\nHealth-Hygiene<\/p>\n<p><strong>oval Date<\/strong><br \/>\n03-Jul-2016<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title HSEQ Officer (Cape Town) Employment type Regular position Experience level required 3 &#8211; 6 years NP range NP9- Affiliate (if known) TOTALGAZ SOUTHERN AFRICA Branch Division Gas About&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[2234,178],"tags":[1929],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
