Support and advice to enable the business to achieve its sales and profit objectives and support the accounting team in ensuring accuracy of the entries being passed to the ledgers and subsequent reconciliations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reconciliation\u00a0and monthly processing necessary for the Inventory control accounts in the Balance Sheet, in line with the new system as implemented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing journals and updating in GL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Calculating and raising provisions for the monthly SLOBS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing monthly information necessary for Accounting Manager for monthly Hyperion upload for inventory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assistance in preparation of all data for forecast and annual ABP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide market\/product sales and margin data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate with sales, product manager and distributors on deflator and advertising expenses related issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide comparison of monthly sales with budget and prior years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Finance or Business Administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>BCOM Finance, Management Accountant certification or CIMA required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Hyperion, Scala knowledge preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluent in English \u2013 verbal written<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>An Offer to Grow On<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Energizer offers a competitive compensation package which includes medical and retirement savings coverage, paid holidays.
