The CSIR Undergraduate Bursary Programme is open to all academically qualifying young people and also aims to attract and increase participation of women and black people in science, engineering and technology.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a South African citizen successfully pursuing a science or engineering degree at a South African university or a Grade 12 Learner aiming to study for a degree in science or engineering in 2017, the CSIR bursary is for you.<\/p>\n<p>This is a comprehensive bursary that covers all the costs associated with university studies, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration fees<\/li>\n<li>Tuition fees<\/li>\n<li>Books<\/li>\n<li>Accommodation<\/li>\n<li>Living allowance<\/li>\n<li>Laptop allowance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Grade 12 learners:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be a South African citizen \u2022 A minimum of a Level 5 for English (First Language or a English Second Language) in Grade 11 \u2022 Preferably level 6 for Mathematics and Physical Science in Grade 11 \u2022 Enrol for BSc or BEng full-time at a public tertiary institution<\/p>\n<p><strong>University students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be a South African citizen \u2022 Must have passed all courses for which you have registered at the university for the study period already completed<\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing Date: 16 June 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p><a class=\"apply\" href=\"http:\/\/www.csir.co.za\/recruitment\/bursary.php\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Online for the CSIR: Bursary \/ Scholarship Programme 2017<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CSIR hereby invites bursary applications from talented young people wishing to pursue a career in research, technology development and innovation.
