\n\u2022 Take accountability for short-term brand planning and execution; based on the long term brand strategy

\n\u2022 Drive the short and longer term strategy through the marketing team, taking accountability for the team’s project planning and implementation
\n1.2. Performance
\n\u2022 Monitor sales performance (volume, value, profitability) of brand
\n\u2022 Actively Identify and explore possible opportunities for growth within the brand, and include in the team’s implementation plans to improve volume and profitability
\n\u2022 Lead product and concept development, that is tailor made for specific target markets
\n1.3. Product Management
\n\u2022 Develop and implement new product launches
\n\u2022 Monitor product profitability and make adjustments to brand plans, where required
\n\u2022 Drive innovation, extension (growing the brand) and renovation (changes made to the brand)
\n\u2022 Anticipates potential project breakdowns, and solves them before they translate into a problem
\n1.4. Brand Management
\n\u2022 Take overall accountability for the success of the brand portfolio
\n\u2022 Drive the objectives of the strategy through the operations of the team
\n\u2022 Become the interface between the Marketing Director and the team
\n\u2022 Influence the decisions of the marketing team, and present ideas to the Director
\n\u2022 Oversees the activities of all internal and external stakeholders to drive the communications strategy
\n1.5. Research
\n\u2022 Drive research requirements with the S&I Team, to analyse overall product and market trends to inform the strategy and objectives
\n\u2022 Work with the Marketing Director and S&I Manager to identify and anticipate media trends, and implement media innovation into the business
\n1.6. Integration
\n\u2022 Manage cross functional relationships to deliver marketing objectives including R&D, Commercial, Finance, Production, Supply Chain and sales
\n\u2022 Ensure fluid communication between trade marketing and the team to ensure the successful implementation of brand plans, relaunches, packaging changes, and other marketing initiatives
\n\u2022 Understand the Industrial processes related to the Brand Portfolio to assist in providing accurate information to R&D, and in the successful implementation of marketing initiatives
\n1.7. Budgets and Marketing expense
\n\u2022 Be accountable to the Marketing Director for the successful management of the budget
\n\u2022 Oversee the day-to-day management the budget by relevant team member
\n\u2022 Analyse the P&L of the brand to ensure profitability of the brand
\n\u2022 Assist the Marketing Director in the budget setting process
\n\u2022 Attend the monthly meeting to ensure that the relevant people are held accountable for their respective budgets
\n1.8. Management and Leadership
\n\u2022 Manage and motivate the team in the delivery of team objectives
\n\u2022 Conduct internal performance management and IDP processes fairly and consistently, resulting in transparent succession planning and specific development areas
\n\u2022 Recruit for vacancies within the team
\n\u2022 Facilitate the setting of team objectives
