On the job training \u00a0within Financial Management, Accounting, Tax and Internal Audit gaining \u00a0experience in within various business units, as well as attaining technical and professional skills. This will ensure that all the competencies that are required by SAICA are signed off in the three year article period.<\/p>\n
Group Finance is a corporate function that serves the overall Standard Bank group across a variety of accounting disciplines \u2013 internal and external reporting, budgeting and planning, tax, technical accounting and investor relations. It also runs the bank\u2019s capital management and regulatory reporting teams and the financial shared services processing centre. Group Finance has its own, dedicated SAP technical support and development team and a new financial systems and process improvement programme team known as Refine.<\/p>\n
Position Description<\/strong> Required Skills and Qualifications<\/strong> Experience

\nQualifications
\n– Matric
\n– Bcomm
\n– CTA (Certificate in Theory Accounting)<\/p>\n
\n– Work experience would be an advantage
\nRequired Competencies
\n– Analytical and attention to detail.
\n– Good verbal and written communication skills.
\n– Presentation skills
\n– Strong Microsoft skills (Excel, Word and Access skills preferential)
\n– Ability to see the \u201cbig picture\u201d
\n– Good EQ (interpersonal skills)
