To prepare the executive, board and performance management reporting for CBU. To manage the financial budgeting and forecasting processes for the CBU together with the CBU Finance business partner. To monitor and control operating expense against budget for the CBU <strong>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong finance business support to CBU executive management team and South African Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A) team<\/li>\n<li>Create positive working relations between the CBU finance team and key internal stakeholders e.g. Finance, Sales &amp; Distribution, Product, CVM, Wholesale, Brand<\/li>\n<li>Written material must be of the highest quality with clear insights and actions for executive management<\/li>\n<li>Executive and board reporting<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Monthly operational reporting<\/li>\n<li>Support Finance FP&amp;A and the CBU in the financial planning processes to deliver challenging and achievable financial plans<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an effective operational control environment over expenditure, identifying weaknesses and developing solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will have an in depth knowledge and understanding of;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong financial management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the company and industry<\/li>\n<li>Compelling communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Commercial acumen<\/li>\n<li>External perspective and appreciation of macro-economic environment<\/li>\n<li>Multiple-stakeholder management ability<\/li>\n<li>Motivating and developing others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The ideal candidate for this role will have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Com Accounting honours degree\/ CA(SA)<\/li>\n<li>Min 10 years financial management experience, preferably in a Finance focused environment<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years operating at Senior level, preferably in a corporate environment<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Advanced skills in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system, VIP and SAP<\/li>\n<li>Advanced levels of experience in financial and business analysis<\/li>\n<li>Experience in financial strategic planning<\/li>\n<li>Experience in management of financial information and reporting<\/li>\n<li>ICT industry experience an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing a small teamThe base location for this role is <strong>Midrand<\/strong><br \/>\nVodacom is an African mobile communications company providing voice, messaging, data and converged services to around 50 million active customers.
