The AD Engineer will be responsible for focusing on the operational integrity of the AD environment.<\/p>\n<p>Job Location: Cape Town, South Africa<\/p>\n<p>WINTEL \/ Active Directory Engineer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding customer\u2019s strategic IT direction as it relates to HPE\u2019s technology and services portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Apply L2 \/ L3 Support of Wintel Domain Controllers<\/li>\n<li>Provide infrastructure support in accordance with client\u2019s security standards.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support of the clients Active Directory Functions as well as DNS, WINS, DHCP, NTP Services.<\/li>\n<li>Sound understanding of Group Policy Objects (implementation and changes).<\/li>\n<li>Perform upgrades to Domain Controllers and other Infrastructure Services e.g. MOM, SCOM, VCM<\/li>\n<li>PowerShell scripting skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Azure<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of AAD DirSync<\/li>\n<li>Ensures overall service delivery excellence by managing all contractual commitments &amp; SLA delivery within our service line.<\/li>\n<li>Drives customer satisfaction, escalation management, and corrective action planning.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure operational excellence by managing key metrics and ensuring team goals and contractual commitments are met.<\/li>\n<li>Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Shift work in alignment with a 24&#215;7 rotational shift structure<\/li>\n<li>Standby support in line with a standby roster<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Education and Experience Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 MCSA Windows Server<br \/>\n\u2022 Windows 2012 Server experience mandatory<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience working in a matrixed environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Customer Relationship Management<br \/>\n\u2022 HPE Internal Relationship Management<br \/>\n\u2022 Strategic planning, goal setting, and plan of record management<br \/>\n\u2022 HPE\u2019s organization structure and policies<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong knowledge of distributed Wintel Server Environment<br \/>\n\u2022 Sound understanding of associated technologies (Storage, Backup, Database, Networking)<br \/>\n\u2022 Service\/Client\/Team oriented individual<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Hardware trouble shooting<br \/>\n\u2022 Windows file system and RAID technologies<br \/>\n\u2022 Windows performance monitor and Event Log analysis<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in MS Clustering<br \/>\n\u2022 Microsoft 2008 Server experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Broad experience across many different IT environments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Communicating and presenting to peers and client\/<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of ITIL Methodologies and Implementing ITIL Processes<br \/>\n\u2022 Providing technical guidance and advice in IT environments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Providing technical and business level guidance and advice in complex environments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong presentation, communication &amp; analytical skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent Technical Problem solving skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal skills \u2013 ability to communicate with people across the globe as client is a multi-national client base<\/p>\n<p>Job &#8211; Services<br \/>\nPrimary Location &#8211; South Africa-South Africa-Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>Schedule &#8211; Full-time<br \/>\nShift &#8211; Day Job<br \/>\nTravel &#8211; No<br \/>\nJob Posting &#8211; Jun 10, 2016<\/p>\n<p>EEO Tagline Hewlett Packard Enterprise is EEO F\/M\/Protected Veteran\/ Individual with Disabilities<\/p>\n<p>Job ID: 1532930<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Description About Hewlett Packard Enterprise Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) creates new possibilities for technology to have a meaningful impact on people, businesses, governments and society.
