{"id":28144,"date":"2016-06-13T14:26:36","date_gmt":"2016-06-13T12:26:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=28144"},"modified":"2016-11-22T10:48:34","modified_gmt":"2016-11-22T08:48:34","slug":"systems-administrator-1-pwc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/systems-administrator-1-pwc.html","title":{"rendered":"Systems Administrator 1 at Pwc"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Main Purpose<br \/>\n<\/strong>We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised and dedicated IT System Administrator to join the Application Operations team in OneTechnology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities\/Output<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the successful candidate, your responsibilities as System Administrator will include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Application knowledge management<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge transfer to the service desk incl. appropriate training<\/li>\n<li>Creation of end user support collateral (FAQ, known issues etc) in the necessary repository<\/li>\n<li>Escalation of communicable items to the communications functional area<\/li>\n<li>Application administration<\/li>\n<li>Basic application monitoring \u2013 example health check on BI models<\/li>\n<li>Basic application configuration \u2013 example survey development<\/li>\n<li>Basic application maintenance<\/li>\n<li>2nd Tier application support<\/li>\n<li>Support on escalated application support incidents<\/li>\n<li>Escalated access control list management \u2013 this group should understand who should get access and what roles they are allowed to which systems<\/li>\n<li>Application reporting \u2013 example usage statistics, applications KPIs, administrative reports for clients, access control list reports to business owners)<\/li>\n<li>Application testing \u2013 system testing (These staff cannot be used for BA work)<\/li>\n<li>Escalation to BRM team of application errors requiring fixing<\/li>\n<li>Escalation to BRM team of possible application improvements<\/li>\n<li>Interaction with the Service Desk and Project teams, as well as stakeholders in the Business Relationship Manager space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies\/Skills<br \/>\n<\/strong>As the successful candidate, you have an IT \/Business Degree or Diploma and preferably an ITIL Foundation Certification.<br \/>\nYou have at least 2 years, hands-on experience in IT.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>You Have Sought After Soft Skills<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are a Team Player<\/li>\n<li>You show effective communication abilities with fellow staff members at various levels<\/li>\n<li>Clear and effective communication with a customer focus, in written and verbal formats<\/li>\n<li>You have a can do attitude<\/li>\n<li>You are structured and methodical in your approach to completing complex tasks<\/li>\n<li>Logical reasoning is one of your primary areas of strength<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work within deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Creative conflict resolution<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and in a team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritise and solve problems proactively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Details<br \/>\n<\/strong>Job Category: Associate Location: Sunninghill<br \/>\nJob Type: Full Time Grade\/Level: (Patterson C1)<br \/>\nLine of Service: Internal Firm Services Available Positions: 1<br \/>\nDivision\/Group: One Technology<br \/>\nQualification Level: IT \/Business Degree or Diploma<br \/>\nExperience Required:<br \/>\n2 years<br \/>\nDrivers License Required: n\/a<br \/>\nTravel Required: No<br \/>\nOvertime Required: Yes<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Main Purpose We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised and dedicated IT System Administrator to join the Application Operations team in OneTechnology.
