It produces 6 types of car modules: seats, cockpits, doors, acoustic packages, front end and exhaust, in the US, Faurecia provides parts for GM, Chrysler, and Ford and for European and Japanese carmakers<\/p>\n<p>Our\u00a0<strong>Faurecia Interior Systems branch<\/strong> is looking for a\u00a0<strong>Non Production Purchasing Country Buyer<\/strong> for its\u00a0Uitenhage, East London and Pretoria plants\u00a0<strong>based in Uitenhage.<\/strong> The role of a\u00a0Non Production Purchasing Country\u00a0Buyer (NPP) is to develop the network with internal customers, to identify new needs and to support the implementation process through project management.<\/p>\n<p>The main missions of the role are to:-<\/p>\n<p><strong>Internal customer network:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>Develop a network with the internal customers of the country to explain the NPP strategy, identify new and potential improvements to integrate into the commodity strategies.-<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commodity actions:<\/strong>Apply the commodity strategies defined by the Commodity Managers, in order to facilitate the implementation of the negotiated commodity contracts.-<\/p>\n<p><strong>Regional actions:<\/strong>Optimize the local purchases not managed by the commodity team actions and not covered by commodity contracts.Consolidate recurrent local needs, globalize competitve bids, negotiate contracts at country level.
