{"id":28415,"date":"2016-06-20T13:04:24","date_gmt":"2016-06-20T11:04:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=28415"},"modified":"2016-11-16T10:38:32","modified_gmt":"2016-11-16T08:38:32","slug":"boxroom-controller-g4s-cash-solutions-south-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/boxroom-controller-g4s-cash-solutions-south-africa.html","title":{"rendered":"Boxroom Controller: G4S Cash Solutions South Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Boxroom Controller<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, has a vacancy for a <strong>Boxroom Controller <\/strong>based at our operations in Kimberly<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Chief Boxroom Controller.<\/p>\n<p>The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role which facilities management plays within a successful business unit. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Role Responsibility<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Key Performance Areas<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><u><strong>Box list, Boxes and Seals<\/strong><\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Update on a daily bases the \u201cBox in Stoploss Bag in\u201d and \u201c Box out Stoploss Bag out\u201d lists and check the E-Viper system for the same<\/li>\n<li>Assess the physical state of the Boxes to ensure that they are secure<\/li>\n<li>Paint and Code Boxes with client details<\/li>\n<li>Where no seals have been received from the road staff and or issued to the road staff, ensure that it is recorded on a receipt and or E-Viper system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><u><strong>Receiving and Issuing of Boxes \/ Stoploss Bags<\/strong><\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Receive and Issue Boxes\/ Stoploss Bags and dates as per the prepared lists and E-Viper system<\/li>\n<li>Physically check seals on boxes\/ Stoploss Bags to verify if intact<\/li>\n<li>Obtain receipt and or E-Viper receipt signatures for all transactions<\/li>\n<li>Query all Boxes or Stoploss Bags listed on the Box or Stoploss Bag list and or E-Viper system which have not been handed in by the Crew, with control and notify Senior of the missing Boxes or Stoploss Bag<\/li>\n<li>Report broken seals on Boxes, Boxes not properly sealed, suspicious looking Boxes and or damaged Stoploss Bags to security officer or Management<\/li>\n<li>Check that all Containers and Stoploss Bags received from road crew and counting house are properly sealed and locked<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><u><strong>Vault<\/strong><\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect vault and Boxroom and check that all Boxes\/ Stoploss Bags have been handed in and that those destined for the dispatch the following day are allocated to the correct schedules<\/li>\n<li>Store all Boxes or Stoploss Bags containing cash in the Vault<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the Vault is secure at all times<\/li>\n<li>Open the Vault and the beginning of the shift and lock the Vault at the end of the shift together with the Branch Security Officer or relevant Senior<\/li>\n<li>When the Vault is not in use during the day the Grid and Vault door should be closed and locked. Should the Vault doors need to be opened the CMCC should be called to get the Kaba-Lock code<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><u><strong>Communication and liaison<\/strong><\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with Control Room, Counting House and the Armory to ensure smooth and efficient dispatch and receipt of Boxes\/Stoploss Bags<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Boxroom Controllers in other branches and immediately follows up on non-receipt or none E-Viper receipt of scheduled Boxes or Stoploss Bags<\/li>\n<li>Sends daily tele-faxes detailing Branch requirements and priorities (Vault and AV limits) to BSO and Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><u><strong>Counting House<\/strong><\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and submit daily Box or Stoploss bags pre-list to Counting House<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Counting House supervisor to determine their operational requirements and priorities<\/li>\n<li>Note and action counting house requirements on the schedule<\/li>\n<li>Sign for Boxes pr Stoploss Bags received from the counting house on the Counting House Supervisors list<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The Ideal Candidate<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Minimum Requirements<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Matric Certificate\/Grade 12<\/li>\n<li>PSIRA Grade B certification and registration<\/li>\n<li>Previous Box room experience will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate with staff and customers<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of ISO Quality Management and its requirements<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 3 years experience in CIT operations is preferable<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literate<\/li>\n<li>Competency Firearm Certification<\/li>\n<li>CIT Training Certification<\/li>\n<li>A valid code 10 drivers licence with PDP is an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Boxroom Controller G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, has a vacancy for a Boxroom Controller based at our operations in Kimberly Reporting to the&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[5,2234],"tags":[2056],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
