{"id":28435,"date":"2016-06-20T13:55:23","date_gmt":"2016-06-20T11:55:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=28435"},"modified":"2016-06-20T13:55:23","modified_gmt":"2016-06-20T11:55:23","slug":"senior-strategy-consultant-genesis-analytics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/senior-strategy-consultant-genesis-analytics.html","title":{"rendered":"Senior Strategy Consultant at Genesis Analytics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The main purpose of the job is to manage and participate in teams of consultants to generate new approaches and solutions so as to deliver on strategic consulting and analytical assignments for a variety of client\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<p>The work will be delivered through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Well managed consulting projects<\/li>\n<li>Developing strategic insights and leading team problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring effective working relationships within teams, with junior consultants on projects and with clients<\/li>\n<li>Using deep analysis, economic based thinking and problem solving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KEY INITIATIVES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the management of projects, generating sound analysis and recommendations and providing quality assistance to clients<\/li>\n<li>Perform rigorous analysis of data and reports using both conceptual problem solving and quantitative approaches<\/li>\n<li>Review the inputs of, and mentor junior consultants<\/li>\n<li>Help prepare clearly thought-out and logically written documents using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Interact with clients<\/li>\n<li>Assist with new business development &#8211; producing and costing proposals<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to building firm intellectual property<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span id=\"MainContent_lblInfo1\"><\/span><strong><span id=\"MainContent_lbltitle2\" class=\"Titles\">Requirements:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong academic background with grades over 65% \u2013 Minimum of a Postgraduate degree. Preference for Economics and\/or Finance. Masters degree is preferable<\/li>\n<li>3 \u2013 5 \u00a0years related experience and a solid interest in consulting<\/li>\n<li>Strong research, analytical and lateral thought processes<\/li>\n<li>Sound problem solving and judgement skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience in or an interest in banking and the financial services sector<\/li>\n<li>Financial acumen beneficial and must be highly numerate<\/li>\n<li>Excellent English communication and writing skills \u2013 ability to communicate at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Proactive self starter who is able to be assertive<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team as well as independently<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Strong relationship management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong planning and organisational skills, with ability to prioritise<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Professional and confidential approach to dealing with sensitive information<\/li>\n<li>Advanced PC literacy<\/li>\n<li>Willingness and ability to travel nationally and throughout Africa<\/li>\n<li>Preference is given to SA EE candidates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The main purpose of the job is to manage and participate in teams of consultants to generate new approaches and solutions so as to deliver on strategic consulting and analytical&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[26],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
