To track and analyse all brand, competitor and promotional activities in supporting Trade Marketing, and to ensure the successful implementation of key projects. This role is a key point of contact for the Field Sales Team for demand planning and forecasting.<\/p>\n
1. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
\n1.1. Tracking and Planning
\n\u2022 Present research and analysis outcomes in a logical and interesting format that is understood by the audience, along with recommendations and suggestions to improve the situation for the business
\n\u2022 Independently run with projects that entail researching, gathering, analysing, compiling and presenting accurate findings and results to interested parties
\n\u2022 Analyse internal and external customer data
\n\u2022 Determine the quality and quantity of data to be shared with the Commercial team
\n\u2022 Engage with key internal contacts for gathering of relevant information
\n1.2. Market Brand Analysis
\n\u2022 Monitor competitor activity and communicate findings to Marketing and Commercial teams
\n\u2022 Complete competitor pricing analysis and advise on competitive pricing range
\n\u2022 Prepare regular price review and analysis reports to determine the market situation and competitiveness against the main competitors in the market
\n\u2022 Explore new potential markets where the product or service can be introduced
\n\u2022 Make product marketing decisions based on the target audience and the nature of the product or service
\n\u2022 Based on the data, prepare the framework for marketing strategies for the company
\n1.3. NPD Management
\n\u2022 Create relevant PDF and listing documents, and track and monitor listings
\n\u2022 Sign off on trade presenters with relevant members of Commercial & Marketing teams
\n\u2022 Manage the allocation of trade presenters and samples
\n\u2022 Plan and forecast for the launch of new products
\n\u2022 Track and monitor the distribution and sales of new products on weekly basis
\n\u2022 Conduct post analysis of new product performance
\n\u2022 Ensure daily, weekly and monthly tracking on new brands
\n\u2022 Ensure 100% accuracy on trade presenters
\n\u2022 Engage with key internal contacts for gathering of relevant information<\/p>\n
2. ACADEMIC AND TRADE QUALIFICATIONS
\n\u2022 Matric and a relevant 3-year Diploma \/Degree<\/p>\n
3. WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
\n\u2022 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Commercial environment
\n\u2022 Demonstrated knowledge in Sales\/ Trade Marketing, Brand and Competitor Awareness as well as new product management
\n\u2022 Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
\n\u2022 Excellent administration skills
\n\u2022 Demonstrated customer knowledge
\n\u2022 Sound understanding off the FMCG industry, with Dairy focus being an advantage
\n\u2022 Strong analytical, interpretative and investigative skills
\n\u2022 Information System oriented<\/p>\n
