\nNational Diploma in Electrical Engineering (heavy current)
\nTrade Certificate as an Electrician
\n2\u20135 years\u2019 relevant experience with technical training and\/or experience in an electrical heavy current environment
\nComputer literacy (MS Office, Applications and SAP)
\nCode B driver\u2019s licence
\nRecommendation: Registered as an Assessor and Moderator for Electrician\u2019s qualification.<\/p>\n
\nProvide support and continuous improvement through training Asset Management processes and procedures and linking the same processes and procedures to electronic reading devices, field assets and SAPBI (EAM) processes
\nPresent product specific training and link SAPBI (EAM) processes to assets
\nCoordinate and conduct electrical training courses based on acceptable educational practices for the relevant topics and associated ETQA processes
\nPresent the course material to learners, explain and discuss content, clarify terminology and illustrate examples to support understanding and learning
\nAssess learners, both theoretically and practically and present these outcomes to SETA for moderation and verification for the awarding of qualifications and implement course feedback
\nPerform administration duties including statistical information with respect to training completed, attendance levels and targets achieved
\nSupervise and control the training of learners, as well as learner discipline
\nEnsure safety, good hygiene and accident\/injury reporting in accordance with the City\u2019s COID procedures.
