Insights seeks to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated <strong>EE candidate,<\/strong> to assume responsibility as a <strong>Senior Research Analyst \u2013 in the DStv-i Department <\/strong>to take on <strong>reporting and data insights<\/strong>responsibility for DStv-i South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Angola, Zambia, Tanzania and other African territories as the project expands.\u00a0The incumbent will report to the <strong>DStv-i Data Manager,<\/strong> and be based at our offices in Randburg.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>CONTEXT<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>External factors which will influence the work environment taking future conditions and strategic requirements into account:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lucrative business environment<\/li>\n<li>Fast paced Dynamic organisation<\/li>\n<li>CII policies and procedures<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>CUSTOMERS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>External individuals or groups as well as individuals or groups within the organisation to whom products, services, programmes and information must be provided<\/p>\n<p><strong>Internal Customers<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MultiChoice<\/li>\n<li>M-Net<\/li>\n<li>SuperSport<\/li>\n<li>DStv Media Sales<strong>External Customers<\/strong>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>International Channel Partners<\/li>\n<li>Advertising Industry (Agencies and Clients)<strong><u>OUTPUTS<\/u><\/strong>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Tracking of DStv-i viewing trends, linked to local and international events and channel and bouquet changes<\/li>\n<li>Providing analysis and data insights<\/li>\n<li>Reports and presentations to internal and external clients<\/li>\n<li>To work on any ad hoc research analyses as required<\/li>\n<li>Validation of DStv-i data<\/li>\n<li>Responding to queries and data analysis briefs as and when required<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><u>COMPETENCIES<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong>Personal capabilities which are critical to the production of quality outputs are:<\/li>\n<li>Skills in data interpretation<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of various research methodologies<\/li>\n<li>A sound understanding of the landscape of African markets, television and media industries<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills &#8211;
