{"id":30431,"date":"2016-08-12T08:32:04","date_gmt":"2016-08-12T06:32:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=30431"},"modified":"2016-11-11T12:40:53","modified_gmt":"2016-11-11T10:40:53","slug":"internship-office-administrator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/internship-office-administrator.html","title":{"rendered":"CSIR: Internship Office Administrator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CSIR has an Internship opportunity for an Office Administrator Intern in the BioFISA Programme Office, which is hosted by the Biosciences unit.<\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will be responsible for office administration of the projects funded by the programme.<\/p>\n<p>This position is based in Pretoria.<\/p>\n<p><u>Key responsibilities:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate meetings, including arranging the venue and refreshments.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the planning and arrangement of events, including but is not limited to training courses, stakeholder workshops and exhibitions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare minutes, agendas, training programmes and other appropriate documents.<\/li>\n<li>Provide secretarial and administrative support to management and other staff.<\/li>\n<li>Purchase, receive and store the office supplies ensuring that basic supplies are always available.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the care and maintenance of office equipment and furniture.<\/li>\n<li>Support the BPU team in various tasks such information searches (web), updating contact database and other administrative tasks as needed by the team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Qualifications, skills and experience:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A National diploma in office administration.<\/li>\n<li>B Tech or Honours degree will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 1 year experience will also be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>A strong work ethic (e.g. accountability and reliability) and ability to work within a dynamic team environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following competencies are critical for this position:<\/p>\n<p>o Computer literacy and a working knowledge of MS Excel and Word;<br \/>\no Good organisation skills;<br \/>\no Record-keeping skills;<br \/>\no Excellent communication skills;<br \/>\no Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail;<br \/>\no Proactive approach to problem-solving;<br \/>\no Ability to work under pressure and multi-task; and<\/p>\n<p>o Willingness to take on new challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Closing Date: 11 August 2016<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.csir.co.za\/recruitment\/doc1\/JF_Interns_Office_administrator_edit___mr_comments.pdf\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to CSIR CAREER<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CSIR has an Internship opportunity for an Office Administrator Intern in the BioFISA Programme Office, which is hosted by the Biosciences unit.
