{"id":30483,"date":"2016-08-11T09:20:30","date_gmt":"2016-08-11T07:20:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=30483"},"modified":"2016-08-11T11:10:46","modified_gmt":"2016-08-11T09:10:46","slug":"mpumalanga-dept-health-nursing-training-programme-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/mpumalanga-dept-health-nursing-training-programme-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"Mpumalanga Dept Of Health: Nursing Training Programme 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-canvas-width=\"844.0980493333335\"><strong>CLOSING DATE: 31 AUGUST 2016<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-canvas-width=\"844.0980493333335\">The Department of Health invites Mpumalanga Province citizens to apply to study towards the four year Diploma in Nursing (General, Community &amp; Psychiatry) and Midwifery at Mpumalanga College of Nursing. <\/span><span data-canvas-width=\"202.774472\">NB: THE SPACE IS LIMITED<\/span><span data-canvas-width=\"695.2409679999998\">Applicants must meet ALL the following compulsory minimum requirements, not some of them.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-canvas-width=\"521.1240946666667\">A matriculation certificate qualifying for admission for a diploma \/ degree.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-canvas-width=\"344.22267733333337\">English at least level 4 (HG D \/ SG C) or above<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-canvas-width=\"517.2124733333333\">Life Science \/ Biology \/ Physiology at least level 4 (HG D \/ SG C) or above.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-canvas-width=\"627.2848346666666\">Mathematics at least level 3 or (HG E \/ SG D) or Maths Literacy at least level 4 or above<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-canvas-width=\"732.2024746666667\">Any one of Physical Science \/ Agriculture \/ Geography; passed with at least level 3 (HG E \/ SG D) or above<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-canvas-width=\"842.8549493333334\">Minimum total Admission Point Score (APS) of the six subjects with highest levels should not be less than 25 (Excluding Life Orientation)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-canvas-width=\"823.4625893333335\">A previous qualification in a Nursing or similar programme is not considered as a requirement for admission and does not replace the above.<\/span> <span data-canvas-width=\"684.8320773333334\">Certificates not registrable with the South African Nursing Council (e.g. ABET) will not be considered.<\/span> <span data-canvas-width=\"741.5008626666665\">Applicants with a disability will be considered only in terms of the inherent requirements of the nursing duties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE REQUIRED:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>To sign an agreement with the Department of Health to work back the number of years trained<\/ul>\n<p>To attend lectures for theoretical knowledge and do Work Integrated Learning in health facilities as required by the South African Nursing Council.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: Students will receive a fixed monthly stipend for the duration of their study and will not be put on posts.
