{"id":30535,"date":"2016-08-18T13:59:09","date_gmt":"2016-08-18T11:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=30535"},"modified":"2016-08-31T12:13:50","modified_gmt":"2016-08-31T10:13:50","slug":"trudon-bursary-2017-applications-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/trudon-bursary-2017-applications-now-open.html","title":{"rendered":"Trudon Bursary 2017 applications now open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Further your career with a Trudon bursary aimed at assisting South African second and third year tertiary students.<\/p>\n<p>Regrettably no first year bursaries are available.<\/p>\n<p>Trudon is committed to the principles of Employment Equity.<\/p>\n<p><u>Who qualifies?<\/u><\/p>\n<p>To qualify for the Trudon Bursary the student must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a South African citizen or permanent resident<\/li>\n<li>Able to provide proof of his\/her current academic results and be in possession of a grade 12 exemption certificate with Maths<\/li>\n<li>Be accepted by the chosen university for the specific course<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Be a second or third year student studying full time at a recognised South African university (that is acceptable to Trudon) towards an undergraduate degree in:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Informatics or IT Management<\/li>\n<li>Computer Science and Informatics or Information Technology \/ Mathematical Science<\/li>\n<li>Multimedia Design<\/li>\n<li>Digital Media Studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Multimedia Design and Digital Media Studies are awarded to students studying towards a Bachelor of Information Science (Publishing and Multimedia) and or Graphic Design qualification.<\/p>\n<p>These degrees represent fields of relevance to the company.<\/p>\n<p>The main criteria for the selection of applications are financial need and academic potential.<\/p>\n<p>Trudon does not award bursaries towards post-graduate studies.<\/p>\n<p><u>Academic Requirements<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Second or third year tertiary students: Majors and overall average minimum 60%.<\/p>\n<p><u>What does the bursary cover?<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration and Tuition fees<\/li>\n<li>Book Allowance<\/li>\n<li>Residence fees (where applicable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.careersportal.co.za\/mediafiles\/2016\/august\/Trudon-Bursary-application-form.doc\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Download<\/strong><\/u><\/a> and complete the application form and submit via email: <a href=\"mailto:smithc@trudon.co.za\">smithc@trudon.co.za<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Apply before 31 August 2016.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Further your career with a Trudon bursary aimed at assisting South African second and third year tertiary students.
