The Constitutional functions of the AGSA are set out in section 188 of the Constitution and section 4 of the Public Audit Act, 2004 (Act No. 25 of 2004)(&#8220;the PAA&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements\/Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u25a0Must be studying or intending to study towards a qualification as a Chartered Accountant (i.e. Bcom Accounting CA Stream, Bachelor of Accounting CA stream and Bcompt) at a University accredited by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountant (SAICA).<br \/>\n\u25a0Bursary holders are required to serve articles \/ training contract with the organisation on completion of their studies as per the bursary contract.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job\u00a0Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Grade 12 students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Must obtain matric exemption and university acceptance<br \/>\nMust obtain at least 60% for English<br \/>\nMust obtain at least 60% for Mathematics (not Maths literacy)<br \/>\nUniversity students :<\/p>\n<p>Must obtain over 60% pass in all subjects.<br \/>\nMust be proficient in English with strong communication skills.<br \/>\nMust have good interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nMust have drive, determination and commitment.<br \/>\nMust have strong leadership potential.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.agsa.co.za\/Careers\/Bursaries.aspx\">Apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Auditor-General of South Africa (&#8220;AGSA&#8221;) is established in terms of section 181(1)(e) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Act No. 108 of 1996)(&#8220;the Constitution&#8221;) as&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":false,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[334],"tags":[545],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
