{"id":30705,"date":"2016-08-23T17:11:05","date_gmt":"2016-08-23T15:11:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=30705"},"modified":"2016-11-14T14:05:54","modified_gmt":"2016-11-14T12:05:54","slug":"department-rural-development-land-reform-internships-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/department-rural-development-land-reform-internships-2016.html","title":{"rendered":"The Department of Rural Development and Land Reform Internships 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (DRDLR) invites Unemployed<br \/>\nAgricultural Graduates with a three-year diploma <span id=\"IL_AD9\" class=\"IL_AD\">or degree<\/span> in Agriculture who need\u00a0practical hands-on experience to improve their chances of employment to apply for\u00a0Agricultural Graduates Programme opportunities that currently exist in the DRDLR\u00a0Provincial Offices.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates with experience will have an added advantage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2666Project and People Management skills\u00a0\u2666Research methodology\u00a0\u2666A valid driver\u2019s licence\u00a0\u2666Willingness to travel and work extended hours\u00a0\u2666Computer <span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">literacy<\/span>skills\u00a0\u2666Communication skills\u00a0\u2666Facilitation skills\u00a0\u2666Report writing skills\u00a0\u2666Presentation skills\u00a0\u2666Liaison skills\u00a0\u2666Interpersonal relations skills.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidates will participate in rural development projects in the following Agricultural fields:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree\/Diploma in <span id=\"IL_AD2\" class=\"IL_AD\">Agricultural Economics<\/span><br \/>\nDegree\/Diploma in <span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">Agricultural Engineering<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Degree\/Diploma in <span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">Agronomy<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Degree\/Diploma in <span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">Crop Production<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Degree\/Diploma in Soil Science or Agricultural Management<\/li>\n<li>Degree\/National diploma in Forestry or Plant Production<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&gt;<strong>Closing Date: 02 September 2016<br \/>\nLocation: Nkangala District, Gert Sibande District and Ehlanzeni District<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref No: 3 \/ 2 \/ 1 \/ 2016 \/ 110<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants should reside within the Local <span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">Municipalities<\/span> and\/or Districts where the positions are advertised and applicants who reside close to the project site shall have an advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates and successful candidates only. If you have not been contacted within two (2) months after the closing date of this advert, please accept that your <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">application<\/span> was unsuccessful. Successful applicants will be appointed for a period of 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>Successful candidates may be expected to reside on the project site for the duration of their contract(s).<\/p>\n<p>NB: Appointment of successful candidates is subject to positive vetting and verification of qualifications.
