Its global network comprises more than 90 offices located in over 50 countries, plus they have over 150 mining and metallurgical sites, offshore oil production assets, farms and agricultural facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Glencore is offering opportunities at the Boshoek Smelter, Rustenburg, for candidates who would like to join their Learnership Programme in order to qualify as Artisans (Ref. No. HRD01).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Opportunities are available in the following disciplines:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boilermaking<\/li>\n<li>Fitting<\/li>\n<li>Rigging<\/li>\n<li>Electrical<\/li>\n<li>Instrumentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter into an Engineering learnership programme with the MQA SETA<\/li>\n<li>Undergo institutional training at one of the selected training centers<\/li>\n<li>Undergo practical training and exposure at the premises of the Company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12\/Matric<\/li>\n<li>N2 with relevant trade theory for Mechanical<\/li>\n<li>N3 with relevant trade theory for Electrical or Instrumentation.<\/li>\n<li>Alternatively, candidates with a Technical Matric with relevant trade theory or Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science may also be considered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates will be required to undergo aptitude tests or psychometric assessments<\/li>\n<li>Medically fit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Closing date is 26 August 2016.
