\nNational Diploma in Natural Science\/ Earth Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or equivalent related field.
\nComputer literate and proficiency in programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and Excel.
\nKnowledge of the National Water Act (Act 36 of 1998).
\nThe Public Service Act and Regulations 1994 (Act 103 of 1994).
\nNB: Applicants are required to indicate on the application the work area of their interest.
\nUnderstanding of Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM).
\nKnowledge of Batho Pele Principles.
\nReport writing skills.
\nGeneral knowledge of information systems.<\/p>\n
\nDetermine agricultural water use requirement for different crops.
\nGenerate water use tables.
\nCapture verified water use data and update Department\u2019s Water Use Registration Management Systems (WARMS).
\nAssist with generating, managing and distributing communication letters to water users.
\nProviding monthly status of verified water use.
\nKeep and update web based database with validation and verification information.
\nFiling correspondence with the clients.
\nSupport and provide reports to the Manager.<\/p>\n
