{"id":30738,"date":"2016-08-29T09:57:42","date_gmt":"2016-08-29T07:57:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=30738"},"modified":"2016-08-29T10:33:26","modified_gmt":"2016-08-29T08:33:26","slug":"food-service-aid-work-charlotte-maxeke-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/food-service-aid-work-charlotte-maxeke-hospital.html","title":{"rendered":"Food Service Aid to work at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATION: GAUTENG DEPARTMENT<br \/>\nDEPARTMENT OF E-GOVERNMENT<br \/>\nREF NO: 001640<br \/>\nDirectorate: Food Service Department<br \/>\nSALARY : R84 096 per annum (plus benefits)<br \/>\nCENTRE : Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital<br \/>\nCLOSING DATE : 02 September 2016<\/p>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS :<\/strong><br \/>\nBasic elementary education\/ literacy.<br \/>\nGrade 9 \u2013 12.<br \/>\nNumerical skills.<br \/>\nGood verbal and written communication skills English.<br \/>\nAppropriate knowledge of food preparation.<br \/>\nPrevious experience in Food preparation and diet knowledge in Hospitals will be an advantage.<br \/>\nAwareness of Batho Pele Principles.<br \/>\nShould be prepared to work shifts (07H00 to 19H00) and public holidays.<br \/>\nBe willing to work in a team and under stressful conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DUTIES :<\/strong><br \/>\nThe preparation of food and snacks in Main kitchen, diet kitchen, and or fluid diets and feeds in the tube feed area.<br \/>\nPackaging of frozen meals and distribution of food in crates.<br \/>\nCould also be requested to prepare and set trolleys in ward kitchens, as well as reconstituting of frozen meals and the serving of food and beverages to patients.<br \/>\nThe performing of routine tasks to operate Food Service equipment.<br \/>\nLifting of heavy food baskets and pushing trolleys and tea trolleys.<br \/>\nTaking responsibility of food supplies and reporting waste and losses.<br \/>\nApplying hygiene and safety measures in the area of work according to hygiene and safety manual and planned work schedules.<br \/>\nTo liase with colleagues, supervisors, managers, patients and hospital staff where applicable.<br \/>\nBe prepared to relieve in all areas of food service unit when required.<br \/>\nBe willing to undergo continuous training and development programs<\/p>\n<div class=\"onp-sl-content\" data-lock-id=\"onpLock478378\">\n<p><strong>ENQUIRIES:<\/strong><br \/>\nMs. S.
