{"id":30881,"date":"2016-09-12T10:42:02","date_gmt":"2016-09-12T08:42:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=30881"},"modified":"2016-11-14T13:11:12","modified_gmt":"2016-11-14T11:11:12","slug":"graduate-programme-department-public-works","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/graduate-programme-department-public-works.html","title":{"rendered":"Graduate Programme at the Department of Public Works"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Public Works hereby invites applications for internship programme that exists within the Department.<\/p>\n<p>The Internship Programme offers students that have already received a certificate of completion from the academic institution practical experience in the work place to increase their employment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The Internship Programme will run for a period of one (1) year.<\/p>\n<p><u>The stipend for the internships is as follows;<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants with Bachelor\u2019s Degrees in the built environment will receive R21,856 per month.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants with a B.Com (Accounting) will receive an amount of R4989.51 per month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>A total of 17 internship opportunities are available to applicants in possession of Bachelor\u2019s Degrees in the following fields based at the Head Office in Pietermaritzburg;<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical Engineering \u2013 Ref No ME08\/2016 \u2013 (2 x Interns)<\/li>\n<li>Structural Engineering \u2013 Ref No SE 08\/2016 \u2013 (3 x Interns)<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Engineering \u2013 Ref No EE 08\/2016 \u2013 (3 x Interns)<\/li>\n<li>Architecture \u2013 Ref No Arc08\/2016 \u2013 (2 x Interns)<\/li>\n<li>Quantity Surveying \u2013 Ref No QS08\/2016 (2 x Interns)<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) \u2013 Ref No BCom08\/2016 (5 x Interns)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Provide a CV and certified proof of the qualification they have obtained.<\/p>\n<p>Be unemployed and only applicants who have never served an internship previously will be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Provide an affidavit in this respect signed by a Commissioner of Oaths.<\/p>\n<p>Should be between 18 and 35 years of age.<\/p>\n<p>Must be South African citizens residing in KwaZulu-Natal.
