\n\u2022 Developing and executing test, conversion and system implementation plans.
\n\u2022 Initiating and recommending changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
\n\u2022 Understanding industrial practices and department policies and procedures relating to work assignments.
\n\u2022 Leading and collaborating with other IT teams to ensure application of quality of services such as scalability, maintainability, extensibility, reusability, availability, security and performance.
\n\u2022 Providing second-level operational support, troubleshooting and security vulnerability testing and remediation.
\n\u2022 Interacting with senior-level personnel and senior business stakeholders, with the ability to effectively communicate and explain complex and technical subject matter.
\n\u2022 Working independently and within a team and make actionable recommendations to managers and senior-level stakeholders based on technical expertise.
\n\u2022 Participating in national and international forums on technology.
\n\u2022 Doing proof reading-of-concept development and build working prototypes.
\n\u2022 Keeping current with emerging technologies
\n\u2022 Updating the shift report with all major and outstanding issues
\n\u2022 Following procedures and requests accurately<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Completed degree in IT majoring in computer science
\n\u2022 Should not be studying fulltime for the duration of the programme
\n\u2022 Be available full-time from 1 January 2017 till 31 December 2017
\n\u2022 South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 30
\n\u2022 Must be able to commute to the workplace on their own
\n\u2022 Computer literate (MS Office)
\n\u2022 Currently unemployed<\/p>\n
