The purpose of the job it to undergo a structured training programme in order to become competent for the position of Demand Planner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determine Sales Forecast in consultation with Planning and Buying Teams<\/li>\n<li>Forecast of Sales and understand the impact on the Stock Management<\/li>\n<li>Prepare forecast and coordinate final sales plan to deliver department sales plans for budget sessions<\/li>\n<li>Monitor distribution of stock to stores<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and mange DC service levels<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">Analysis<\/span> of product and store performance<\/li>\n<li>Provide store support and conduct visits<\/li>\n<li>Review store performance and manage expectations<\/li>\n<li>Conduct and lead In Season trading session to optimize sales performance (stock and sales meetings)<\/li>\n<li>Interact and integrate with Replenishment <span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">Analysts<\/span> and Planners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">Requirements<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 with Mathematics<\/li>\n<li>Business Degree or Diploma<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literate (MS Office)<\/li>\n<li>Work experience in the retail planning environment would be <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">advantageous<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Competencies Required:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical, Systematic,<\/li>\n<li>Assertive, Good communication and Presentation skills,<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"IL_AD2\" class=\"IL_AD\">Accurate<\/span>,<\/li>\n<li>Team player,<\/li>\n<li>Stress tolerance and Initiative<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Closing date is 22 September 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pepstores.com\/work-at-pep\/vacancies\/#\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PEP Stores is looking for a Trainee Demand Planner in Cape Town.
