This is an internship opportunity for a young graduate to develop skills and knowledge on web design, digital media and content development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position:<\/strong>\u00a0Web\/Digital Media Intern<br \/>\n<strong>Duration:<\/strong> 6 months<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist to provide a consistent and compelling digital presence, with a view to increasing <span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">online<\/span> consultation and engagement.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the content and functionality of the NSP webpage, interim sites and microsites including developing and evaluating site architecture and navigation, design, copywriting, programming and content<\/li>\n<li>Set up the e-Newsletter to NSP stakeholders and help to manage community engagement &amp; comments<\/li>\n<li>Proactively ensure <span id=\"IL_AD2\" class=\"IL_AD\">website<\/span> copy is current and up-do date and manage the web updating process by guiding and assisting content contributions and by preparing and writing copy for web pages.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain blogs, news, <span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">video<\/span> and user groups and Twitter, Linked-In, YouTube and Facebook (or equivalent) and write copy\/tweets and issue regular relevant messages or tweets to maximize social networking success.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Provide integration of digital media with the web, including developing and producing podcasts, audio\/video, photography and digital media.<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular reports and analysis on web and digital media usage and trends using Google Analytics and on-line sources and advice on future developments and opportunities and the direction of web and digital delivery<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Provide advice and counsel on best practices on web marketing and new media, including email campaigns, online newsletters, <span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">search<\/span> engine optimization\/marketing, podcasting and RSS feeds.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the messaging and other marketing and communications plans of the NSP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS and web standards<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Google webmaster tools<\/li>\n<li>Experience with social media, email and online communication platforms<\/li>\n<li>Must have previous experience with web, e communications, and other multimedia systems<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of social media monitoring tools &amp; marketing skills<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about the Internet<\/li>\n<li>Flexible attitude<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span id=\"IL_AD9\" class=\"IL_AD\">Applications<\/span> should be accompanied by a cover letter motivating <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">eligibility<\/span> and suitability for the learnership position should be emailed to <a href=\"mailto:hr@sanac.org.za\">hr@sanac.org.za<\/a> .
