The project entails the building of 6 x 780 MW Coal Fired Super Critical <span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">Boiler<\/span> for the coal fired Kusile Power Station to be erected at the Kusile Site at Mpumalanga ,Witbank, South Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>EXPERIENCE<br \/>\nSuitable candidates must have the following work experience:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>0-2 Years\u2019 experience in relevant engineering of construction capacity.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A relevant <span id=\"IL_AD9\" class=\"IL_AD\">Engineering Degree<\/span> \/Diploma in the Mechanical Field<\/li>\n<li>GDP Programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PURPOSE OF THE JOB:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><u>Responsible for the handling and processing of all engineering issues appertaining to the projects ducting and<\/u><\/li>\n<li>to the Construction departments by handling engineering relatedissues, investigations, site queries and solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Key Performance IndIcators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the handling and processing of all engineering related issues appertaining to the projects ducting and bunkers pre assembly and erection process.<\/li>\n<li>Interface to the Construction departments by handling engineering relatedissues, investigations, site queries and solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Engineering as mentioned in the main Purpose of the job\u00a0 (Above)<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the compilation of work packages for construction purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Produce <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">method<\/span> statements for engineering related site instructions.\u00a0 (e.g. Rework and modifications)<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"IL_AD10\" class=\"IL_AD\">Interact<\/span> with commercial, construction, engineering and project control departments in order to meet<\/li>\n<li>Project deliverables.<strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Timeously identify potential risks and problems areas, interpret consequences and advise on and follow up on implementation and mitigating actions.<\/li>\n<li>Produce and manage site engineering queries, site instructions and requests for information (RFI).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>COMPETENCY PROFILE:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ATTRIBUTES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good communicator<\/li>\n<li>Sense of urgency<\/li>\n<li>Good planning ability<\/li>\n<li>Pro-active person with initiative<\/li>\n<li>Ability to get things done<\/li>\n<li>Sound Judgment<\/li>\n<li>Good problem solving abilities<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">Ability<\/span> to co-ordinate and build relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/careers-online.murrob.com\/index.php?s=advert_view&amp;g=4116&amp;x=4973838&amp;i=1292&amp;pop=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Murray &amp; Roberts Power and Energy invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Junior Construction Engineer (Completion) for Kusile Site reporting to the Construction Manager.
