The Children\u2019s Hospital Trust was founded in 1994 as the independent Fundraising Arm of the Red Cross War Memorial Children\u2019s Hospital when the Hospital was threatened with closure due to lack of funding. Since its inception the Trust has supported the Hospital through upgrading its buildings, purchasing vital equipment and funding training and research programmes.<\/p>\n
The Trust seeks to appoint a Communications Intern based in Cape Town<\/span>.<\/p>\n The Intern will offer support to the communications department in developing planning and coordinating marketing initiatives including primarily publicity, patient stories, material, marketing material and media and when needed, cause related marketing campaigns and promotions to meet the key objectives of the Children\u2019s Hospital Trust including income generation, acquisition and brand awareness.<\/p>\n Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n Opportunity closing date: Wednesday, 12 October, 2016<\/p>\n\n
