{"id":31559,"date":"2016-11-11T10:37:21","date_gmt":"2016-11-11T08:37:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=31559"},"modified":"2016-11-22T13:01:01","modified_gmt":"2016-11-22T11:01:01","slug":"rustenburg-local-municipality-bursary-scholarship-programme-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/rustenburg-local-municipality-bursary-scholarship-programme-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"Rustenburg Local Municipality: Bursary \/ Scholarship Programme 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Closing Date: 30 November 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The office of the Mayor invites candidates to apply for a bursary that will be awarded in 2017 for the following fields of study:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Health<\/li>\n<li>Agriculture<\/li>\n<li>Finance<\/li>\n<li>Information Technology<\/li>\n<li>Tourism and Hospitality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Consideration will be given to previously disadvantaged and disabled people in the Rustenburg Local Municipal area who have \/ who would have completed Grade 12 and have secured provisional admission at any recognised South African tertiary institution. However, preference will be given to learners who have obtained highest academic excellence. Applicants MUST be residents of Rustenburg Local Municipality (38 wards).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The following documents are required:<\/strong> \u2022 Grade 12 results or recent academic record \u2022 Certified copy of ID document \u2022 Certified copy of parent\u2019s\/guardian\u2019s ID document \u2022 Letter of admission or proof of admission from the institution of higher learning \u2022 Proof of parent\u2019s\/guardian\u2019s income (of total monthly income not exceeding R3 500) \u2022 Copy of pension slip (for indigent applicants) \u2022 Affidavit (if parent is unemployed) \u2022 Proof of residence \u2022 Quotations for the course, accommodation and books.
