The below-mentioned <span id=\"IL_AD2\" class=\"IL_AD\">duties and responsibilities<\/span> encompass the Property Risk role in its entirety. However, the expectation is that the Junior Property Risk Analyst will grow into the role.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Investec is an international specialist banking and asset management group. It provides a range of financial products and services to a client base in three principal markets: the United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia.<\/div>\n<div><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Residential<\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Approvals of and quality control of residential valuations<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of residential building bond calculations<\/li>\n<li>Review and approvals of residential building bond conditions<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and analysis of ad hoc market research reports<\/li>\n<li>Review and approvals of collateral releases and requests for bondholders\u2019 consents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><em>Commercial (includes retail, offices, multi-unit residential, <span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">industrial<\/span>)<\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Approvals of and quality control of commercial valuations<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of <span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">commercial building<\/span> bond calculations<\/li>\n<li>Review and approvals of commercial building bond conditions<\/li>\n<li>Pre-sale and pre-let <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">audits<\/span> of commercial developments<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of pre-credit Property Forum packs and minutes<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of the commercial development bond schedules<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and analysis of ad hoc market research reports<\/li>\n<li>Review and analysis of the tenant schedules relating to pre-credit desktop and approved commercial valuations<\/li>\n<li>Review and approvals of collateral releases and requests for bondholders\u2019 consents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Minimum requirements<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span id=\"IL_AD4\" class=\"IL_AD\">Bachelor of Science<\/span> (Property Studies)<\/li>\n<li>National Diploma in Real Estate<\/li>\n<li>Current part-time study toward a property-related qualification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Preferred \/ Advantageous Skills<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of Risk Management as it relates to property as collateral security<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of all building regulatory and legal requirements<\/li>\n<li>Strong Excel skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Personal Attributes &amp; Other Requirements<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpersonal and good <span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">communication skills<\/span> are essential<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage change and to be dynamic<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and pro-active<\/li>\n<li>Effective time management skills, ability to work under <span id=\"IL_AD10\" class=\"IL_AD\">pressure<\/span>, and to prioritise<\/li>\n<li>Deadline driven, and ability to work independently at times<\/li>\n<li>Passion and a willingness to learn and to teach<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mindset<\/li>\n<li>Ability to problem-solve<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li>Problem solver<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong><span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">How to apply<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/investec.erecruit.co.za\/candidateapp\/Jobs\/View\/161110-5\/Junior_Property_Risk_Analyst_-_Consultant?source=Indeed\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<div id=\"AdCode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Investec Property Risk is looking for an individual with a passion for property to join its team in Sandton.
