{"id":33743,"date":"2016-11-18T13:28:20","date_gmt":"2016-11-18T11:28:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=33743"},"modified":"2016-11-18T13:28:20","modified_gmt":"2016-11-18T11:28:20","slug":"publishers-association-south-africa-internship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/publishers-association-south-africa-internship.html","title":{"rendered":"Publishers\u2019 Association of South Africa Internship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Publishers\u2019 Association of South Africa is offering exciting internship opportunities for individuals who want to develop their career in the Book Publishing Industry.<\/p>\n<p>The programme is funded by FP &amp; M Seta (Fibre Processing and Manufacturing Sector Education Training Authority).<\/p>\n<p><u>Purpose:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development of human resource capacity in the publishing industry;<\/li>\n<li>Addressing the needs as articulated in the Fibre, Processing and Manufacturing SETA (Sector Education &amp; Training Authority) with regard to the demographics of the country; and<\/li>\n<li>Increasing the employability of unemployed, qualified graduates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Description:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Internship Programme is a structured placement programme administered by the Publishers\u2019 Association of South Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Duration: 6 months (January 2017 to June 2017).<\/li>\n<li>Interns will be paid a monthly stipend.<\/li>\n<li>The internship will be with contracted publishing companies which are in the Education, Trade and Academic Sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Interns will sign a contract which will commit them to the period and conditions of involvement and employment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individuals who want to work and develop book publishing as a career;<\/li>\n<li>Tertiary qualifications in the publishing or similar field \u2013 with a clear desire for upskilling;<\/li>\n<li><u>Individuals who are:<\/u> o eager to learn<br \/>\no proactive<br \/>\no independent thinkers<br \/>\no assertive and<br \/>\no enjoy language and communication.Closing Date: 25 November 2016<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.careersportal.co.za\/mediafiles\/2016\/november\/PublishersAssociationofSouthAfrica.pdf\" target=\"_new\"><u><strong>Click Here to EMAIL ADDRESS TO APPLY<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Publishers\u2019 Association of South Africa is offering exciting internship opportunities for individuals who want to develop their career in the Book Publishing Industry.
