Qualifications: Graduate of Marketing, Business Studies, Commerce or equivalent<br \/>\nExperience: At least 1-3 years of experience in marketing<br \/>\nLocation: Johannesburg (Randburg)<br \/>\nTerm: Full or part time (negotiable)<\/p>\n<p>Salary: Neg based on experience and availability (full or part time)<\/p>\n<p>In On Africa (IOA) is a Johannesburg-based research, advisory and publishing firm with a comprehensive focus on Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The company boasts more than 300 expert consultants and various strategic partners spread across the African continent.<\/p>\n<p>IOA\u2019s product and service offerings are housed within three complementary company divisions: Consulting, Publishing and Content Marketing.<\/p>\n<p>The successful applicant will join the IOA team as a dedicated marketing manager to work directly with the company\u2019s CEO, senior management and strategic partners on a range of areas to assist in the growth of the firm.<\/p>\n<p><u>The role of the marketing manager will include (but not be limited to):<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marketing, advertising and brand strategy development, implementation and management<\/li>\n<li>Continuous monitoring, evaluation and refinement of marketing, advertising and brand strategies<\/li>\n<li>Management of relevant strategic partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Development of marketing-related reports, company policies, procedures etc<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with IOA\u2019s consultancy team on marketing-related activities<\/li>\n<li>Working with the CEO and business development team on proposal development and other BD-related initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Ideal personal skills and attributes:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passionate about Africa, research and business<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and experience with social media marketing, content marketing, research, report development, advertising and strategy development<\/li>\n<li>Able to work in a team<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivator and deadline driven<\/li>\n<li>Excellent project management<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Good people skills<\/li>\n<li>Good communicator<\/li>\n<li>Analytical and critical thinker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Detailed CV<\/li>\n<li>Letter of motivation including a brief summary of experience and\/or interests specifically relating to:<\/li>\n<li>Business development and business-related networking<\/li>\n<li>Strategy development (particularly marketing and\/or business development strategy)<\/li>\n<li>Social media campaign development, implementation, management etc<\/li>\n<li>Other forms of digital media\/marketing involvement<\/li>\n<li>Advertising (print and digital)<\/li>\n<li>Research<\/li>\n<li>Publishing, report development, content development etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submit the following to <a href=\"mailto:human.resources@inonafrica.com\">human.resources@inonafrica.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Closing date for applications: 7 December 2016<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IOA is inviting applications from marketing experts with a passion for Africa, research and business.
